The eirSpiders, originally known as the Golden Spider Awards and later as the Eircom Spiders, is an annual awards ceremony for contributions to online and digital media in Ireland. Established in 1996, the awards are hosted by Business & Finance and sponsored by telecommunications company, eir.
The countdown was needed to allow guests to be seated and get ready for the start of the awards.
