In July 2000, Lidl burst onto the Irish grocery market and changed the face of shopping in Ireland for the better with top quality products made available at the lowest possible prices. Since then, they have opened over 190 stores across the island of Ireland and are proud to be the market leader in discount retailing in Ireland.
To launch their summer BBQ range, Lidl Ireland sent journalists a media drop with some of their newly launched products.
We stuck closely to Lidl’s summer brand guidelines to ensure a modern, fun design for the box, booklet and stickers.
Along with the media drop box, a booklet was designed to include the ingredients and instructions for their beef and vegan burger recipes.
The booklet has 4 pages. The recipes are broken down into sections – Prepare it, Make it & their Secret Sauces.
To launch their extended range of craft beers, Lidl Ireland sent media some beers and quiz cards to enjoy with their family and friends.
There were 4 cards with 6 questions around a certain theme – General Knowledge, Movies, Music and Sport.
Áine’s Handmade Chocolate in Co. Cavan was photographed for Lidl Ireland’s Easter eggs supplier story which can be found on their website here.
Ann Doherty and her team produce thousands of eggs per day so Lidl can get them into their stores ahead of Easter.
In celebration of the May bank holiday, Lidl Ireland invited budding mixologists in (virtual) style as it hosts a live cocktail masterclass on their Instagram page.
The cocktail masterclass was hosted by Patrick and Russell from the GastroGays where they taught followers how to whip up delicious luxury cocktails for less, starting at only €3 a drink!
Following the viral success of An Garda Síochána, we worked with Lidl Ireland to create their version of the Jerusalema Challenge.
We visited 10 locations across the island of Ireland to film staff in stores, a warehouse and Lidl’s Head Office. We used a mixture of drone and handheld footage to create the video, using simple transitions to knit the company together.
